The role
As a Transmission Line Mechanic, you will be working on the construction and maintenance of electrical lines to our clients customer and Network requirements.

Being in this role, your safety and that of others around you is your number one priority. You will also assist with work plans and ensure that relevant field paperwork is completed on time.

You will need to demonstrate the following:
– Working on multiple projects with plenty of forward work for the upcoming months
– Assist with work plans and ensure that relevant field paperwork is completed as necessary
– Install and replace electricity network pole structure and overhead conductors
– Pulling up new line builds for subdivisions requested by  clients customers.

Who we’re looking for?
You’ll be working on a variety of exciting projects and may have to do some occasional weekend work. To be successful in this role, it is essential to have the following:

• Current NZ EWRB practicing licence and E1, E2, TL1, TL2, TLM and electricity supply Level 4 NZ
• At least two years of solid work experience under your belt
• A valid Class 2 driver’s license OR Class 4 driver’s license (preferable but not essential)
• A great work attitude and willingness to be part of a diverse team along with a strong focus to health & safety
• Ability to communicate and work under minimum supervision
