Join New Zealand’s leading manufacturer of food-grade stainless steel vats and other high-quality stainless steel projects. Our client specialises in advanced refrigeration technologies for the dairy, beverage, food tech, and agribusiness sectors. With a team of approximately 77 people across two locations, they are continuing to grow and are looking for experienced Stainless Steel Fabricators to join their manufacturing facility in South Taranaki.

About the Role:

Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts) – enjoy a 3-day weekend, every week!

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and follow plans and specifications
• Cut, shape, and assemble stainless steel products
• Perform MIG and TIG welding, ensuring strong, high-quality welds
• Inspect finished products to meet quality and customer specifications
• Follow health & safety laws and regulations

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in stainless steel fabrication
• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings & specifications
• Trade qualification preferred, but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• A genuine team player
• Site work experience is an advantage

Our client is an Accredited Employer with current Job Tokens , but you must be in New Zealand to conduct an on-site welding and fabrication test.
