Position:

We are on the lookout for 5 Metal Fabricators to join there  fantastic and close-knit team in Christchurch. As one of the  successful candidate, you will be at the forefront of the production team, responsible for crafting, welding, and assembling components. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring the efficient operation of all equipment.

To thrive in this role, you must:

•  Have a trade certificate or a hold a qualification in Welding or Fabrication
•  Be proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
•  Work both independently and seamlessly as part of a team.
•  Boast excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•  Thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines.
•  Champion safety and quality as top priorities.
•  Be physically fit and capable of handling heavy materials.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, weld, and assemble components with precision.
• Expertise in MIG and TIG welding, primarily working with steel. Experience with stainless steel and aluminum is a plus.
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize component designs.
• Review and advise on engineering requirements and drawings.
• Prioritize safety for yourself and your colleagues.
