We are hiring five skilled Fitters to join our clients team and make a real impact. As a Fitter, you’ll play a vital role in the assembly and build-up of new road tankers and equipment. Additionally, you’ll respond to emergency breakdowns, ensuring all machinery is safe, efficient, and ready for action.

What You’ll Do:

•   Assembly & Maintenance: Dive into new tanker builds and modifications, ensuring existing equipment is in top shape.
•   Repair & Overhaul: Take charge of on-site repairs, from company trucks to milling machines, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
•   Problem-Solving: Use your expertise to troubleshoot, test, and find effective solutions for equipment faults.
•   Communication: Keep the team and management informed, collaborating with contractors to get the job done.

 Skills & Qualifications:

•   Required: Formal qualification in relevant trade with at least 4 years of Fitter/Turner experience.
•   Experience: Worked with vehicles and/or plant equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, valves, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
•   Knowledge: Skilled in operating various workshop machines and equipment.
•   Desired: Experience with lathes/milling machines, MIG/TIG welding, hydraulic/pneumatic test rigs, and environmental gas testing.
•   License: Desired HGV truck and trailer driver’s license with DG conversion.
