CNC Machine Operator

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and driven CNC Machine Operator to join our client’s workshop in vibrant West Auckland.

If you’re skilled in operating 2-axis machines and thrive in a dynamic environment, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to determine the best materials, methods, and sequences for operations.
• Inspect fabricated metal parts for accuracy, clearance, and fit using precision tools.
• Utilize metalworking machinery such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to shape and cut metal according to specifications.
• Maintain production targets while delivering top-notch craftsmanship.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in CNC machine operation.
• Trade qualifications preferred; however, equivalent experience will be considered.
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety practices.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Class 1 license preferred but not essential.
• Provide at least 2 work references showcasing your expertise and reliability.
