Job Opportunity: Cable Jointers in New Zealand

Do you have the skills and experience as a Cable Jointer? We have exciting opportunities for qualified and registered Cable Jointers to join our clients’ teams throughout New Zealand. We are looking for individuals who are ready for a change and can work on a range of projects.

Requirements:

• Experience in Oil, Gas, and XPLE cable jointing
• Worked on 11kV – 33kV, with a preference for experience in 110kV up to 132kV
• Ability to carry out HV and LV cable jointing and terminating
• Valid NZ Driver’s License
• Experience as a cable jointer
• EWRB registration as a Cable Jointer is preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of cables and local network systems, procedures, and standards
• Commitment to health and safety

Responsibilities:

• Installation, replacement, and repair of underground distribution assets
• Jointing and termination of distribution assets up to 11kV >
• Excavation and reinstatement of underground cable installation sites
• Routine inspections, fault finding, repair of overhead installations, underground cables, and instrument testing
• On-call roster for network maintenance
