Use your boat repair & refurb skills to do what you love in one of the most beautiful and liveable countries in the world.
New Zealand’s premier provider of repair, refit and refurbishment services for local vessels to international super yacht fleets is on the lookout for experienced boat specialists to join their expanding team on a full time, permanent basis.
So they’ve tasked us to scour New Zealand and the globe to find boat specialists, who have experience in repair, refit and refurb of boats of all sizes and composites. This role requires someone who has experience working in a boatyard rather than production and across various boat tasks and types. If you’ve only done lamination or mold creation or only worked in production, this would not be a fit for you
This is a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of world-class vessels and develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment. For a chance to be a part of our passionate team and contribute to the excellence of the luxury yachting industry, please fill out the application below.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting refit, repair, and refurbishment work:
- Determining repair requirements and procedures
- Styling plans and specs for fabrication and cabinetry
- Working with variety of materials, notably timber & composites
- Fitting hardware
- Building/installing structures ranging from cabins to rudders as well as cabinetry
- Making and assembling parts to form and install cabinetry
