We are recruitment and immigration specialists, versed in essential employment law, trained to effectively assess candidates for suitable employment options.

We never lose sight of the importance our actions play in people’s lives and livelihoods so we are constantly challenging ourselves to improve our processes, knowledge and thinking.

The majority of us are migrants who have chosen to make NZ our home and experienced first hand the challenges of immigration and learning the Kiwi culture…and language (see our tips on speaking Kiwi).

Christiaan Arns
Managing Director, Licensed Immigration Advisor


As Managing Director since 2003, Christiaan has seen the business grow steadily and expand to serve the construction industry as well as dairy farming. The success comes from using his substantial experience with Recruitment and Immigration to formulate and incorporate best practice processes that help ensure favourable and streamlined results for our client employers and employees.

Christiaan is also the senior Immigration Advisor, providing services ranging from initial consultation and professional advice to full service visa and residency approval for FRENZ Recruitment clients as well as non-FRENZ employers and candidates.

With his breadth and depth of knowledge across immigration, recruitment and employment, Christiaan is able to quickly identify potential issues and provide solutions for clients.

Christiaan has been part of the premier reference group formed by the Immigration Advisors Association (‘IAA’) to assist with the interpretation of the code of conduct for Licensed Immigration Advisors. He has also been called upon to providing advisor coaching for continuing professional development.

Tammy comes to us with 20 years of global business and marketing experience with a focus on customer experience, data and technology.
She is responsible for ensuring that FRENZ is positioned to continue delivering value to our clients through the solutions we offer and the service and support we provide.
Much of this is done through strong relationships and customer knowledge combined with office systems and processes that allow FRENZ to source and pre-screen higher quality candidates and to get them to work more quickly in positions where they have the best fit based on the unique needs of the employers.

Lauren Smith
Licensed Immigration Adviser -LIA 202100010 / Accounts Administrator

Lauren is a born and bred dairy farm girl who, since her arrival to FRENZ, has earned a Licensed Immigration Advisor license.  In fact, her hard work and keen ability to create solutions from immigration complexity garnered her the 2021 Manaakitanga award for top honours and her position as Chair of the LIAA Member Care Committee.

Lauren is very detail and time oriented, likes to multitask and work in a busy environment.  This is an ideal combination in her job- she manages immigration from start to finish and is the primary accounts person for FRENZ.

Having grown up with first hand knowledge of the dairy industry, Lauren was keen to join the FRENZ team in order to understand the world of immigration and the impact on the dairy industry.

As FRENZ’s Business Development Manager, Kathy is a passionate problem solver dedicated to finding innovative recruitment solutions for both employers & candidates.

With over 18 years’ recruitment experience across New Zealand’s Trade, Technical, and Engineering sectors, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a robust network to her role at FRENZ.

Kathy has built her reputation by driving business growth and using her energy and imagination to deliver tailored talent solutions. Her expertise spans diverse industries, from engineering workshops to manufacturing, consulting, technical firms, power, distribution, infrastructure, contractors, and more. She has served clients in the industrial, building, construction, and commercial sectors throughout NZ, leveraging her ability to understand market dynamics and trends to give clients a competitive edge.

Kathy’s passion extends to exploring niche vacancies for specialised candidates, and she’s always eager to learn about emerging technologies and roles.

Outside of work, she finds joy in outdoor activities like tramping and walking, maintains a healthy lifestyle through yoga, and values quality time with her family.

Storm Roth
Recruitment Consultant

Storm joins FRENZ by way of South Africa and 20 years working in 360 recruitment in the healthcare industry.  Her journey into recruitment followed a fulfilling nursing career in both South Africa and New Zealand’s.  She embarked upon after graduating the South African Military Health Service, where she honed her medical skills.

Upon immigrating to New Zealand, Storm cared for the elderly in an Aged Care Facility before transitioning to her career in recruitment.

With her background and her natural care and empathy, Storm finds her role as a recruiter is a rewarding job that involves helping individuals find their ideal employment opportunities.  Particularly given the desperate need for quality, skilled candidates.

She applies to meet the needs of both candidates and employers.

Storm firmly believes in the power of pairing the perfect candidate with the right client.  “There is always a positive to every situation.”

Carmelette Gonzaga
Immigration Adviser Support

Carmelette is a Philippines native who has joined FRENZ to apply her years of immigration experience to assisting in the immigration team.

For almost 10 years, Carm worked in a range of immigration-specific and related roles, from business process outsourcing, handling various foreign diplomatic mission accounts, to providing visa guidance and assessment for clients applying to Australia & New Zealand embassies and study and work visa consultancy support.

She is passionate about providing excellent service to clients and always make sure to focus all her attention on what she is doing to complete her task effectively.

Added to her immigration know-how, Carm also has a good blend of client support and troubleshooting skills gained from her time working with a leading global tech service provider. Both benefit FRENZ clients who trust us to work quickly and thoroughly while navigating through potential issues that could go unseen by less detailed and skilled people.

Minoli Seneviratne
Marketing and Sales Support

Minoli is one of the newest additions to the FRENZ team, bringing a diverse technical and marketing background and is eager to provide support to candidates and employers alike with the borders now opening.

 

Being qualified in IT and Marketing, Minoli started her career as an IT Instructor in Sri Lanka. She then moved on to work in Digital Marketing and Content Coordination for work ranging from Sri Lankan hospitality to even work with the National Livestock Development Board.

 

Upon arriving to NZ as a migrant, for her higher studies, she knows well the challenges of moving to a new country and dealing with the whole immigration and recruitment process. And she finds it very rewarding to be able to support her fellow migrants in reaching their dreams of living and working in the right job in NZ.
