FRENZ-Job-Application

Who creates the ads?

FRENZ recruitment team create this. In saying this, we will ensure that the ads are matching your requirements, the industry standards, are appealing to potential candidates as well as secondary requirements like INZ standards.

What is the process?

Upon receipt of your job description, we’ll:

  • review and consult with you on the ideal candidate and key parts of the role’s duties and skills/requirements and benefits to highlight.
  • discuss the company culture, unique elements of the company culture/brand and benefits of the role by which to attract the candidates.
  • agree target audience – location, demographics, etc.
  • and, if the ad is to also (potentially) be used for an Immigration NZ Job Check, we’ll draft it with the required inclusions.

From this, provide you with a recommended media schedule along with costs.  Upon agreement, we’ll provide you with the ad copy for you to review and approve.

Who owns the ads and the responses?

As the service is to produce candidate applicants, determination of their suitability will reside with you and thus you own the ad and the responses.

Where will the ads run?

They will run in the media you approved for the time you’ve agreed

How much will they cost?

They will run in the media you approved for the time you’ve agreed

What happens to the applicants?

The applicants go directly to you either through the media applicant engine or forwarded, untouched, by us to your designated email.

What if there are no respondents?

If the ad isn’t delivering any applicants after a week, we can review the copy and the placement and agree changes. Analyzing and considering the reasons for a response rate is part of our service.

Candidate Vetting

When time or specialised expertise is limited, this service provides targeted recruitment support to give you confidence that your candidates (up to 5) are thoroughly assessed for suitability, including potential visa requirements

What is the benefit of this?

Outsourcing vetting services to expert recruitment consultants allows companies to ensure job candidate documents are thoroughly evaluated for authenticity and alignment with CV claims- saving time, streamlining the hiring process, and boosting confidence in hiring decisions.

Next, we send a formal request for the required documents and, upon receipt, assess them for currency, completeness, and authenticity. For candidates needing visas, FRENZ licensed advisers can review the documents to ensure alignment with role requirements under the Job Check.

Throughout the process, we maintain communication with the candidate, requesting any missing or higher-quality documents and addressing any questions about the provided materials. Once the vetting standards are met, we compile the final documents for submission.

Upon which, we’ll email the candidates with the process and time for completion per your requirements.  Within the process, we’ll periodically update you as to progress and any questions we may have or encounter from the candidate which we’re not able to answer.

As part of this, we’ll also do an online check to ascertain any inconsistencies from CV / claims made to you on experience and skills to you.

The criminal check will identify a potential legal or safety risks associated with hiring the candidate which will help protect the reputation of the business as well as avoiding a bad hire.

Additionally, for international candidates who require police clearances as part of their visa application, prompting and guiding them through this process as required by INZ can help expedite the process while also identifying any potential issues that may hinder the application.

In a candidate reference check, we assess the candidate’s past job performance, reliability, work ethic, and relevant skills. We also verify their qualifications and gain insights into how they collaborate with others, ensuring they align with the role’s requirements and company culture.

What if you can’t get in touch with the referee/ they don’t respond?

Immediately upon receipt of the various referee contact details, we will attempt to schedule the interview.

If we’ve had no response within 24 business hours, we’ll recontact and look for other means of contact, e.g., Facebook or Linkedin profile contact.

  • failing a response within another 48 business day hours, we’ll alert you that we’ve been unable to contact and ask for the candidate to attempt to re-engage with the referee themselves, provide another means of contact and/or another reference.

What if the candidate is not a NZ citizen?

Reference checks will be undertaken as usual regardless of the referee’s location.

For criminal checks, at least one police clearance is required for an immigration application, based on the amount of time in countries other than their own.  As part of this service, we will ensure, through our Licensed Advisers, that they have formal instructions and undertake application for their potential employment in New Zealand.

Can you guarantee that reference & background checks will identify all issues and align with the candidate’s true character and experience?

With our extensive experience and high volume of document vetting, we are more likely to identify information that is most relevant to you; however, there are many variables beyond our control. which makes a guarantee impossible.

We guarantee that our checks will increase the background understanding of a candidate for your organisation.
