What we’ll need
- Complete, correct and current CV with your employment, start and finish dates and duties as well as your skills
- Discussion with you to go over your experience and what you want out of your next job
- For candidates who need work visas, you’ll need to provide evidence of a Bachelor degree in the relevant field or proof of 3 years experience in the relevant field to meet Immigration NZ visa eligibility
- Professional references which we’ll use as an added check for whether you and the available jobs are a fit

Options for Backpackers
FRENZ have been placing (and on placing) short term workers on working holiday visas for years and all across the country. Employers welcome short term workers who give a slice of different cultures and who are critical to filling work gaps, & providing holiday coverage.
If you’re a ‘backpacker’ the benefits are the work options around the country, gaining experience in NZ farming, having onsite accommodation and working outside and with animals. You may also elect to stay long term living in New Zealand as many of FRENZ backpackers have!
What you’ll be doing and the experience you’ll need will vary by farm but generally a mix of:
- large animal experience – ideally farm
- ability to drive a 2 or 4 wheeler – tractor even better!
- driver license – ideally along with a car as some farms are remote
