Employer Check (Accreditation)
Simply Put:
- Based on either <5 or 6+ migrant hires
- INZ assess and awards 1 year Accreditation based on positive historical/current financials;
- Adherence to employment & immigration rules
- Commitment to INZ compliance to Settlement & eLearning modules
- (tested at Renewal)
Job Check
Simply Put:
- Valid for 6 months and role specific
- INZ assesses:
- genuine attempts to fill role with Kiwis/Residents based on from WINZ* & national labour market test**
- role’s adherence to immigration/employment requirements based on role’s sample employment agreement
*not required for ANZSCO 1-3;**for Green List roles
Migrant Worker Check
Simply Put:
Relative to the Job Check and Immigration requirements, INZ assess the applicant’s ability to meet/prove:
- Qualifications & Experience
- Character & Health (Criminal Check, Immigration history, eMedicals)
